Abdubel Properties Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a property co-ownership platform registered in Nigeria. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and our investment platform. Our registered address is Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

We collect information you provide directly — including your full name, email address, phone number, Bank Verification Number (BVN), government-issued ID, and financial information required for KYC/AML compliance. We use your personal data to: verify your identity and comply with KYC/AML obligations; process and manage your investments; communicate with you about your portfolio, distributions, and platform updates; comply with legal and regulatory requirements under Nigerian law; and improve the platform experience.

We process your data on the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract — to execute your investment and manage your equity interest; (b) legal obligation — to comply with SEC, CBN, and NDPR requirements; (c) legitimate interests — to operate and improve the platform; and (d) consent — where you have explicitly opted in to marketing communications.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with: SPV administrators and legal counsel involved in your investment; regulatory bodies (SEC, CBN, EFCC) where required by law; KYC/AML verification service providers; and payment processors. All third parties are contractually bound to handle your data securely.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a minimum of seven (7) years after your last transaction, as required by Nigerian financial regulations. KYC documents are retained for at least five (5) years after the end of the business relationship.
7. Your Rights Under the NDPR
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of data where no legal obligation requires retention; object to processing for direct marketing; and lodge a complaint with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy
